Business Challenge

Our client, a large financial company, was interested in a partnership to improve the technology productivity, performance, and velocity of its custom User Interface (UI) framework and deliver an MVP solution to continue to enable growth and the ability of the enterprise to compete and thrive.

The framework sought to become an established framework and encountered challenges in the speed of application delivery, the ease of onboarding/ the developer experience, and productivity. Additionally, some components needed to be created or improved in order to meet the needs of applications intended to utilize the framework in the future.

To accomplish this, a core team (of developers, a technical writer, a designer, and a project manager) was brought in to assess the complex technical challenges, improve the UI Framework’s documentation and awareness, and delivery improvement of adoption with developers, designers, and product owners across the enterprise.

EQengineered Approach

  • Developing an interactive tutorial to onboard developers to the UI framework

  • Developing a centralized repository of information to promote the UI framework across the enterprise
